petersutherland: I recently photographed a day in the life with Mark Gonzales, it is in the new vice photo issue here.  There was a hobby store near my house that sold some Vision skateboards, (in the mid 80s) one had the trapper keeper style rendering of Mark’s face on it.  I was 8 or 9 at the time and didn’t understand it or know if he was a real person but I knew I liked it.   Mark is one of my favorite skaters and artists, it was an honor to do these photos with him, i hope you dig.  (all taken in LES / NYC) P
